Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Catena Logistix (“Catena”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or request a demo of BrokerOS.
Information that our customers process inside BrokerOS — such as shipper requests, carrier details and shipment data — is handled on the customer’s behalf under the agreement we sign with that customer, which takes precedence over this policy for that data.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, work email, company, phone number and anything you write when you request a demo, subscribe to our dispatch, or email us.
- Basic usage information: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, and device and browser type.
- Preferences stored in your browser, such as your light or dark theme choice. This is kept in local storage on your device and is not sent to us.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange demos or pilots.
- To send the updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
Customer data and AI models
No customer data is ever used to train public or cross-brokerage models. Each brokerage’s carrier relationships and shipper pricing are strictly isolated from every other customer.
Data processed in BrokerOS is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), with role-based access control. See our Security page for more detail.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business — for example hosting and email — under contracts that require them to protect it, and where the law requires us to disclose it.
Retention
We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then delete or anonymise it unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent.
